Golang Job: Cloud Service Security Engineer

We are looking for an outstanding engineer to work on security infrastructure for Altinity.Cloud, our enterprise-ready service for managed ClickHouse, the hottest analytic database on the planet. Excellent security is permission to play in cloud data services, and we take it very seriously.

Here’s how to figure out if you fit:

• You are a highly technical self-starter interested in all things security.

• You have practical experience assessing online threats and building solutions to meet them.

• You can help ensure compliance with standards like SOC 2.

• You can implement solutions directly or help guide others to do so.

You have the following qualifications:

• Experienced in threat analysis and mitigation strategies for cloud services built on open source stacks

• Excellent fluency in Golang, with Python a plus

• Hands-on experience with ground-level security infrastructure including secrets management, PKI infrastructure, access control, and network protection mechanisms

• Can quickly apply tools like Snyk and AWS GuardDuty to deploy services securely and monitor them in operation

• Able to make the trade-offs necessary to ship products on time while meeting enterprise security requirements

• Possess a healthy sense of paranoia that drives you to go the extra mile to mitigate threats

• Comfortable working in a distributed team following open source dev practices

• Operational experience with Kubernetes is a major plus

This is a full-time position and includes equity in the company.

We are 100% remote. You may work anywhere you have work permits

Salary: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
